                                   Basic Education in Science and Technology                 In our educational system, science and technology literacy is provided primarily in subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, as well as in manual skills subjects (at vocational schools). Subjects such as Civics, Sociology, and Economics are affected indirectly, since they help to understand the importance science and technology have in our society.
